Public-Private Partnership
A public-private partnership approach has been selected to construct the Western section of the Autoroute 30 completion project. This implementation approach entrusts the private partner with designing, constructing, operating, maintaining and financing the highway segment between Châteauguay and Vaudreuil-Dorion over a 35 year period.
The Eastern section, south of Candiac, Delson and Saint-Constant is constructed using a conventional method by the ministère des Transports. The maintenance and operation of this segment, as well as the existing segments from Châteauguay to Brossard will be entrusted to the private partner for a 30 year period from 2012.
