Launch of the Request for Qualifications!

On November 8, 2006, the Government of Québec officially launched the Request for Qualifications from national and international companies. This is a determining step that will make it possible to retain a limited number of candidates, based on strict qualification criteria pertaining to their abilities in terms of the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of the infrastructure in the context of a Public-Private Partnership, while adhering to government requirements.

A maximum of three candidates will be retained as a result of the Request for Qualifications. These three candidates will then continue the process by responding to a Request for Proposals, which is scheduled for May 2007. The Partnership Agreement will be signed with the candidate who presents the proposal that is most beneficial to the government and the community.
