Request for Qualifications: The candidates are unveiled!

Announcement of the candidates who responded to the Request for Qualifications for the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, and repair

 
 

Montréal, January 17, 2007 – The Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) and the Agence des partenariats public-privé du Québec (PPPQ) announced the names of the candidates who responded to the Request for Qualifications for the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, and repair of the project to complete Autoroute 30 under the terms of a Public-Private Partnership that was launched on November 8, 2006.

 

This step of the selection process will serve to identify the potential private partners in the project for the Western section of Autoroute 30 in the Montréal region, under the terms of a Public-Private Partnership.

 

This Request for Qualifications, which was open to national and international markets, will make it possible to determine qualified candidates, three of which will be invited to participate in the next step, which is the Request for Proposals.

 

The analysis and evaluation of the proposals will be based on technical and financial appreciation techniques, in keeping with the terms of the Request for Qualifications. The deadline for applying was 3:00 p.m. on January 17, 2007.

The evaluation of the submissions will take place during January and February, and the qualified candidates will be announced on February 16, 2007.

 

At the end of the Request for Qualifications process, a maximum of three qualified candidates will be eligible to present a detailed proposal for the project under the terms of a Public-Private Partnership. The Request for Proposals will be launched in the spring of 2007.
